We’re proud to support the Irish Life Dublin Marathon
Together, the Irish Life Dublin Marathon and Summer of Running Series are Ireland’s biggest sport participation event with over 45,000 people taking part, raising over €9 million for charity. They are special days that see people achieve incredible goals. They are also proud days for family members and friends that are watching their loved ones take part. The Irish Life Dublin Marathon takes place every October Bank Holiday weekend and is preceded by the Irish Life Summer of Running Series which starts in June and finishes with the Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon in September.

When I first joined Irish Life, I signed up to contribute to the Staff Charities on a monthly basis straight away. I loved how each year the two Charities were chosen by the Irish Life staff, how the Committee ran amazing events to fundraise like cycles and table quizzes, and how the company matches the amount raised by the staff! It really is incredible. I was so delighted to then join the Committee and be involved in running the events and initiatives for staff. I have been a member of the Irish Life Staff Charities committee for over five years now! Every year, we chat to the two Charities and hear about what this partnership means to them and what they will be able to do with the money received at the end of the year. It’s amazing to hear about the plans the Charities have and what they can deliver with the money raised by Irish Life. On a personal note, when speaking about work to friends and family, I always bring up our Staff Charities and how proud I am to work for a company that works with Charities like Irish Life does.
